    Default Men's Basketball News

It's been a tough two weeks for the Cajun's Men's Basketball program with the death of Williams and now it has been verified another signee Curtis Anderson, will not enroll next month because he didn't qualify. Josh Parrott verified the story and now College Hoops Scoop I believe had something on it.

Anderson signed out of West Texas JC where he avg. 9.3 ppg/6.2 rpg/1.5 bpg as a 6-8 sophomore. He is originally out of East Jefferson High, NO.

Should also note the Cajuns added a transfer from USC in former four-star shooting guard Malik Marquetti. Part-time starter as freshman and team captain as sophomore for NCAA tourney team. He does have to sit out next season, then has two years to play.

Any new information about OK St's PG Griffin transfer decision? It would be a nice get to have both Malik and Griffin suiting up in 2017-18.

We still have 11 players on scholarship plus a couple of walkons. The USC guy will take the 12th scholarship and the OK State guy may take the last one.

I hope this is rumor and not true. He hasn't earned a extension, but then it would have been granted by SF, who also hasn't earned an extension. You should get awarded for wins-loses, championships, and fan attendance.

What has happened to BB recruiting?? We cannot get a top recruit to consider a school in his backyard, but W. Kentucky makes top seven!!
