I hope Davis stays but can see why he'd leave. It's kind of like if you were dating this girl for six months and she keeps telling you that you are the one for her and there is no one else she'd rather be with. Then all of sudden out of the blue she tells you she found a young stud that she wants to tryout for a while and will let you know after if she still likes you. Would you hang around for that?

As of last night, Davis is going nowhere. He is confident that the job is his to lose. Who knows afterwards, but this is good for competition.

Tulsa is a decent looking slut, but he'd have to wait a year to touch her... and I seriously doubt he'd go unchallenged to pull up behind her center. No matter where he leaves for (even an instant opportunity at an FCS) I won't understand it. He's prototypical of what Hud likes. Can he not compete with Jennings? He has the upper hand at the moment, insofar as our system. If he thought he was the man to beat before Jennings came... why give up? If Jennings had 2 or more playing years, that would be one thing. Plus, Jennings could get dinged at any time in the QB dual threat offense we run.

Here's one thing to consider... if JD competes with Jennings and it's a dead heat... we have to go with JD. He's got a future with us. I just cannot see an athlete like JD giving up on his gig here that easily.

Ok yeah you lost me there. I guess that's what Hud did with driskell because We almost beat him when he was with Florida and then driskell bent our team over in the endzome all day when he was at latech...our defense probably went off prior statistics...I guess every team did. I'm not knocking Davis either, if Jennings beats him out its because he is good.
