He's very good. And he could be lights out here. Don't kid yourself... he was not set up to succeed at LSU. I'll leave it at that. He's got mega talent. It will look like our coaches taught him how to throw. I can't say whether JD or someone else will beat him out of the start... but if they do... we've got a serious amount of talent at QB.

I'll take your word for it. I didn't see lsua&m play, so I don't know what we've got in Jennings, except he was a highly rated recruit and he started and won in the SEC. That's not bad. I'm a little concerned with the talk about accuracy. It's one of my favorite attributes of a QB. I hope it's better than Nixon and at least as good as Broadway his Junior year (Senior year was not good).

We've witnessed first hand how well transfers have worked out as starting QB's at other universities. As long as Jennings handles the situation properly and is only named the starter if he earns the position, the locker room should be fine.
