I'm going to disagree with you to an extent; Nixon played in the WING-T at Carencro, he has always been a RB in my opinion playing QB. His major adjustments will be catching the ball and blocking.

Jordan Davis has 1 start under his belt, if he is your starter opening the season it's going to be a long one. Hud knows he needs to win after what happened last season and the ordeal with the NCAA. From what I witnessed in spring, Davis isn't ready. He has all the tools, but the experience isn't there and the decision making is there as well.

Jordan Davis has 1 start under his belt, if he is your starter opening the season it's going to be a long one. Hud knows he needs to win after what happened last season and the ordeal with the NCAA. From what I witnessed in spring, Davis isn't ready. He has all the tools, but the experience isn't there and the decision making is there as well.

Well he's not going to get experience by continuing to sit on the bench....

Hud dug his own hole here by being so adamant about playing Nixon. I was begging for Haack/Davis by the end of last season.
