If he is motivated to the point where he wants to excel here and get a chance to be selected in the NFL draft, it's a win-win situation. I just don't see how putting a good athlete in a position to fail, just like Nixon was, is going to produce somehow better results.

isnt he coaching wide outs though? i know there is some carry over, but he will be spending most if not all of his time with the wide outs, with the exception of skel periods and 1 on 1 periods.

I don't care what he was hired to coach. I'd have him working the zone read handoff with the QBs. He was a freaking magician.

Hud wanted a Juco QB but he went to The Heard.. As of right now we have ZERO quarterbacks worthy of starting
