If he can hit for over a buck fifty. We need more hitters over .280, not less.

He has been given 33 at bats in 2 years... He needs opportunity. Look how much leash was given to fontenot?trosclair? Kerstjad? Unfortunately we didn't play with hardly any leads this year so there was never a good time to let him develop.

I wasn't knocking him. I'm always excited when he gets in the game. Just an observation that we can only develop weak hitters in limited numbers. Two years in and neither Fontenot nor Jam are sure bets. Fontenot did come on strong as the season came to an end. I'm hoping Williams can produce at a high level next season.

"And with the Cajuns loaded in the outfield – senior Kyle Clement starting in centerfield and Kennon Fontenot settling in in left while Sensley, Edwards, Brian Mills and Ishmael Edwards all got shots in right and Derek Herrington worked as a defensive replacement – opportunities this year again were few and far between for Mills."

Does anyone proof these articles? I thought this article was about Jam...not Mills

Not sure he still believes this, but Robe has said multiple times "either you can hit, or you can't."
