Just stats "Former Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns big man Shawn Long has wrapped up play for the Philadelphia 76ers in the Las Vegas Summer League.

In six games, Long averaged 12 minutes per contest and averaged nine points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocked shots per game. Long shot .667 from the floor (20-30), .667 from three point range (6-9) and .889 from the free throw line. He had a high of 21 points and also had one double double in his six games"

Shawn had a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds in a Friday summer league victory over the Heat. I suspect this will allow him to be on a "D" league team of the Sixers. That in itself keeps the dream alive as if someone gets injured during the year, a 10 day NBA contract may ensue. Several players have made it to the league permanently using the 10 day contract as an opportunity. Las Vegas summer league finishes tonight with the championship game. All games in this league were held in Vegas and I believe this ends summer league play.
