Unless things have changed recently, college athletes do not always have access to the best food options

Another factor is that he may have shed some weight to play as a stretch 4 versus having to play the 5 in college

If he's not going to be a first rounder with the associated guaranteed contract, I hope he doesn't get drafter at all. That would allow him to best select a team with a need for his skill set. JMO

Doubtful. NBA has discounted big men. They want big guards, not guys who play with their backs to the goal. Doesn't mean he won't get a real chance.

From what I'm hearing this draft is about two players. Most other teams trying to trade down or out of the draft.

If he does, it'll be in the last 4 or 5 picks. He's right on that fringe. I sure hope he does, just for the honor. That said, if it's going to be that late, part of me also kind of hopes he doesn't so he can pick the best situation for him to get a good shot in the league.

Thats the thing. Long has always been a stretch 4 guy, not a back to the basket 5. He was the biggest man we had so he played that position. And played it very well but you could see he really wanted to face the basket when he got the ball. The issue for the NBA may be his slow feet on the defensive side of things.
Brock is right, it would be better for him to NOT get drafted than get picked in the last 5 or so.

I'm not questioning his skills. We just see the NBA likes faster guys. It's been trending there because of the value of 3 point shooting. Same for colleges, except a big can still dominate the college game with support. Suppprt Sean didn't have.
