I completely forgot about his classes. That is the one thing that I hate the most about the 1 and done players. 1 and done is often referred to as 1 year and done. In reality its 1 semester and done.

We have to be honest with ourselves. When we were 18/19 years old & about to make millions in a few months, would we go to class when it did not matter? At 18/19, I didnt go to class when it mattered.

Spring semester is pretty pointless for a 1 and done athlete.

granted it isn't the ncaa's rule, but they could tighten the reigns on the academics. unfortunatley even retroactively forfeiting games doesn't really make anyone care, not sure what they could do. at least players should have to pay back the taxpayers for the room and board and cost of attendance on a pro-rated amount, not that it would really amount to much, but a show of principle.

I hope Shawn gets drafted. I'm impressed with the circuit he's making with so many teams. It's a little puzzling to me how he's able to shed weight and get in better condition than he was during his basketball seasons with us.
