Thread: Houston Chronicle - All-Greater Softball Pitcher of Year

Default Houston Chronicle - All-Greater Softball Pitcher of Year

The Houston Chronicle had a major article today on the Greater Houston Pitcher of the Year and Hitter of the Year. Per the Chronicle, the Pitcher of the Year is Alyssa Denham of Pearland, a Louisiana Lafayette signee. Looks like we got another good pitcher. Gotta love the Texas connection. The Hitter of the Year is from Atascocita and is a Baylor commit. She should reconsider given all that is going on at Baylor and sign with UL.

Seems like we got 9 pitchers have anyone heard of anyone leaving the program this year other than the seniors that we are losing. Do we have any other transfers coming in other than Chavez will she play 1st base or will she strictly be the DH

Here's the signing class article. We signed 3 Texas pitchers last class. Considering we lose 3 pitchers after next season, it's not the worst thing to bring in some more arms and let the chips fall where they may. The 3 signees are all very impressive

I know Shelby personally. Worked with her last winter. I did everything I could to talk her into being a Ragin Cajun. She's pretty firm on going to Baylor, but if things didn't go well there, I think UL would be her second choice...

Dose't apply to family and friends. His personal relationship qualifies.
