All Logan Stolke needs is a chance. I said that after seeing him as a freshman. Hope he gets it next season. I think he can contribute as both a position player and on mound

The pitching talent on this team will be insane

I say let him hit if we have enough talent on mound. Hasn't touched a bat in 2 years and he's got 2 bombs and 8 RBI in 10 games with a wood bat

----Burke is from Jesuit HS and was told by Robe that he could not pitch last Summer because of arm trouble---As the Jays were National runner up in the American Legion World Series, his presence could have changed the outcome---Guess Robe is on the money again!!!

Don't jump my butt if I'm way off on this... but why do we throw our pitchers in summer leagues? Don't their arms need the summer rest? I thought Robe discouraged our pitchers from summer ball. I can see incoming freshmen, or someone that isn't getting very many innings. But why would Leger be throwing in the summer?

Leger & hogan are limited in the amount of innings they can pitch this summer I think I heard 20 and the only reason robe is letting them pitch is because the exposure from opportunity to pitch in the prestigious cape cod league

He is only gonna throw 20 innings and he is facing the very best competition... It's basically kind of an honor to play in that league

Couple of highlights from this past week:

    Gunner Leger - 1 relief appearance, 3.0 IP, 6 K, 0 BB, 2 H, 0 R (Now 14 innings without giving up a run or walk)

    Hogan Harris - 1 relief appearance, 3.1 IP, 4 K, 1 BB, 0 H, 0 ER, 1 R

Jack Burk pitched in the MINK League All Star game. 1 IP, 2 K and nothing given up. His last start for his team though was one of his shakier starts: 4.0 IP, 5 H, 3 ER, 3 K, 1 BB. Still having a good summer
