    Burk's stat line is very impressive--16K's in 9.2 innings--only 2 walks.

    D1Baseball on Leger

He may not be doing it an overpowering way, but Gunner Leger (2017, LHP, Louisiana-Lafayette) has completely overmatched Cape Cod League competition in his four appearances since Wareham activated him. Over 11 scoreless innings of work, Leger has yet to surrender a walk, has struck out 15 and allowed just three hits. That total comes after another dominant three innings of relief work on Monday night against Bourne.

All Logan Stolke needs is a chance. I said that after seeing him as a freshman. Hope he gets it next season. I think he can contribute as both a position player and on mound

The pitching talent on this team will be insane

I say let him hit if we have enough talent on mound. Hasn't touched a bat in 2 years and he's got 2 bombs and 8 RBI in 10 games with a wood bat

----Burke is from Jesuit HS and was told by Robe that he could not pitch last Summer because of arm trouble---As the Jays were National runner up in the American Legion World Series, his presence could have changed the outcome---Guess Robe is on the money again!!!

Don't jump my butt if I'm way off on this... but why do we throw our pitchers in summer leagues? Don't their arms need the summer rest? I thought Robe discouraged our pitchers from summer ball. I can see incoming freshmen, or someone that isn't getting very many innings. But why would Leger be throwing in the summer?
