I'm still trying to figure out how we got this off the ground with 3 mill in the bank needing 17.
Shouldn't you have to prove that you have funds on hand to begin a project of this scope? When you buy a home, there are checks in place to ensure you can pay the mortgage, employment checks, credit, CASH ON HAND, etc. You can't lie your way through something like this.
They are tearing down the old Tigue and the new one will be built. I trust my sources they are very close to the program.
From what they told me it will go on as planned. That they secured a loan.
I am fairly certain that this is not correct. They are working on a loan, but have not yet secured it, and the chances of doing so are not good, at least according to my sources, which have historically been pretty accurate. Not saying your sources are wrong, BBK, just that mine think that the loan is far from secured.
From what they told me the loan is secured and they are close to the program so my guess is they know what they are talking about. But I guess time will tell.
It will, indeed.
I'm sorry, but the stadium is not being built as planned. It was never planned to secure a loan to build the project in the first place. And there would have never been the need to secure a loan had someone in charge of the project had that person been straight with donors and his superior. I'm happy for Coach Robichaux that the project will go forward if your statement is accurate that the loan has been secured. But it doesn't alleviate the incompetence of the person in charge of the project and his public statement that 70% of the funds had been raised.
