TIGUE UPDATE?

More than half of our season ticket holders....gone....several hundred walk ups....gone....consessions cut in half.....no place to park or tailgate. This has the makings of a disaster movie.....

That's how we are gonna reward one of our better projected teams in our programs history... Should be our best pitching staff ever.

Ha. We've been waiting 3 years for the new Cajun TV network, over 4 for the RCAF seperation, and over 5 for that AAC membership proposal. I think we can wait 2 to 3 week for an email. I mean its hard to type with a Corner Bar drink in your hand. Those thing are awesome and then the girls keep chatting you up.

Every notable media member in our area has been bombarding the athletic offices for comments.. Why don't they simply explain this little "mix up" and ease the public?

And with a team that could be one the best in the history of the school. Almost all of our pitchers back for their last year. What a shame if they don't have a fitting place to play.

I agree. Knowing this contractor when he gets the full OK he will get it done. They might have to put a little paint here and a little putty there, but we will be playing in a newly renovated Tigue. Have faith.

We are already 3 weeks over due to start on a project that was allotted 9 weather days that if started on time with no major hiccups would still have us playing the first couple weeks on the road/fabaucher....because of incompetent leadership. Oh and NTP still isn't signed an no equipment on site. We will now have to use money that was for other things that would further advance the program.... And donors still don't trust the administration and this whole situation will only push more people to not trust them.

CrazyCajun, there are some people that just don't care about how things get done in our athletic department or the nuts and bolts of the everyday operations. They don't care if people are purposely given wrong information or that coaches are mislead on commitments. They are okay with an individual that is incapable of raising money being the face of the UL athletic department even though is it the most important criteria for his job. I could gone on and on, but many people just want to see things done and attend sporting events with friends and family; just enjoy themselves. I get it and understand it. But the fact remains many of us want to see something better for this athletic program beyond competing in the Sun Belt Conference and just being slightly more relevant than the Southland Conference.

After the Alden report was released publicly, people had the opportunity to read and evaluate the performances of our athletic department, branding and marketing. Unfortunately many never took the time to read the report or do not understand it so it is much easier to call people complainers because they don't comprehend the Alden report, or care about the incompetence in our athletic department. What is even more revealing in the Alden report is that at least 75% of the discussion on this site about the lack of vision and commitment to move this program out of the Sun Belt Conference and the knowledge of how to do it has been pretty accurate.

As long as someone gives money to RCAF and buys tickets to multiple sports, they have every right to complain about the incompetence and the lack of transparency in our athletic department. I'd much rather hear people complain and make an attempt to change things than quietly take their money and move on.

Agree on all points but what I don't get and its not just here... If you are content with the way things are then just be content... Shut up and get out of the way. If you are content now you will be content no matter what so let others get ___ done and sit quietly in the corner and be content. Just because you want to settle doesn't mean others should. And obviously when I say you... I don't mean you. Just like seperating the rcaf... You won't lose 1 current member because it separated but if it's costing you money and members because it isn't separated... That's so small time I can't even comprehend how someone with half a brain can't see that. If seperating it gets you $1 more dollar than it cost it's worth it.
