I still think there is more to this story. And it doesn't clear up the LYING by Scott Farmer saying 70% of the funds have been raised.

There is more to the story. Robe doesn't care about it right now. He wants to get the upgrade. The tell in this whole saga is that when the first posts came out stating "Houston, we have a problem" there was ample opportunity for a couple of people to clear things up then. They didn't... because they couldn't. If it were as simple as the "$250k donor..."... and "we're working on resolving cost increases"... that would have been simple to state.

Robe is doing the right thing by placing the project getting done ahead of settling all of the scores. Robe compartmentalizes and priortizes things really well. He would make a great AD... but we need him as the baseball coach.

That's peanuts on the grand scheme of things. Some may have been wrong or may have misinterpreted the pulled money, amount, reasoning, etc.....but you could see and smell the smoke miles away.

Something happened (aside from $250k) and it's a problem.

Farmer is gonna pull the old Bait and Switch.
-Funds aren't there due to economical reasons
-Lawsuit with Russo
-Under budgeted on project
-Blah, Burp, Blah

Stadium gets built. It's held up and not completed by next year and it's no where close to what we envisioned.

Everything you said pretty much sums it up. But just for clarification, the email was about one donor that had pulled their donation because of RCAF rules. He didn't say there were no others, just simply setting the record straight. I know of one other donor that held his donation after he heard about the RCAF rule. He has since spoken to Coach Robichaux and told him he will donate $50,000 to the project. So funds are still being raised, but no one knows the timeline now and how they will finance the money that is needed to move forward now.

Also remember bids and quotes have expiration dates, the more this drags on the more things that will have to be rebid/requoted and those usually don't go down in price.
