This entire RP meltdown, which I am certain the Lateckers and other haters have been loving, was for nothing!

Well, everything done so far (tearing up the parking lot and kiosk, demo work on the Lourdes park) was blocked off before/during the work.....so there wasn't a liability issue so far.

This new fencing would only be needed if the next, big part of the project (tearing down the grandstand, constructing a new one, etc.) was starting.

It could still be related to the electrical work. I noted a couple of days ago that there appears to be a section of concrete that crossed the road between the Tigue and the Cox building where it has been removed in the past, and that section lines up exactly to where they had trenched for the electrical work they were doing along the perimeter fencing earlier this week.

There is still no NTP signed and the people that were concerned are still concerned. If anyone thinks we would risking playing half or entire season at fabaucher or on the road over $250k is kidding themselves.

I agree with you on that...but if it was only over $250k how many phone calls you think robe would have to make? 1? 2? Give me a cut if the gate I'll go take out a loan for $250k right now

Ok, so simple rewording of a contract... Notarize it cash the mans check and sign the NTP... Stage equipment tomorrow and should be "full speed ahead" on Monday.

Just for the record, it was important to me to get something from Coach Robichaux on the subject even if it meant correcting something I stated, or anyone else for that matter. There are still too many unanswered questions right now and most on this thread just want the darn project built as promised. As for who has been right or wrong, some people are just going to burn this thread down anyway, it matters little to me right now.
