Don't you dare use the word "buffoon" when describing Farmer. That word belongs to us recently named "faceless buffoons".....😆

You're correct.....We are the Buffoon's given to us by the almighty one
Well, Jay lost credibility with those statements. Just as well that he stepped away.
Look again at Alden's report and what was recommended and NOT done to date - over 3 months old (we have already passed the recommended completion dates).
We HAVE NOT formulated a staffing plan to position UL to compete successfully, created a competitive marketplace for expanded UL programming and set the stage for bringing in a multimedia agency to maximize revenues and resources, developed a Communication Strategy for UL Leadership with Peer/Aspirational Schools/Conferences, developed a 6 Year Institutional Support Plan, develop a formalized Internship Program to include marketing, development, game operations, and ticketing, developed and implemented a comprehensive football season ticket Marketing and Sales Campaign, developed and implemented a comprehensive football Game Day Operations and Marketing Master Plan, invested in production equipment and facilities to produce a much broader range of UL Sports programming, revamped and regained control of media distribution, created a Branding Committee of both internal and external constituents, developed a Licensing Strategic Plan as part of overall brand plan to include RFP, leadership, and oversight, formalized partnership with Executive MBA program for a sales campaign, an economic impact study, and a marketing campaign, reorganized fundraising/development in ICA under umbrella of Senior Associate AD for Development, developed a 3-Year Rolling Budget Plan with internal/external team, developed and implemented a comprehensive MBB and WBB season ticket Marketing and Sales Campaign, developed and implemented a plan for mixed use real estate development (sports, entertainment, retail, housing) on the land owned by the University at or adjacent to the Athletic facility, implemented a 5-Year Deferred Maintenance Plan, and submitted an RFP for Concessions/premium food services to include local vendors/foods.
Who has responsibility for implementing all of this? Presumably the AD. But, the AD doesn't think we need all of this and won't implement. Where is our President on all of this? Why did he spend the money to hire Alden if he wasn't going to implement? If Farmer refuses to do it, yet another ground for dismissal. Restore confidence in this university that we are moving forward and we are committed to one day being a P5 school or the highest level G5 school and conference affiliation if P5 is not attainable. And while he is at it, take a firm stance on our name, our brand. Take action. Do something. Lead.
Well thanks to our glorious AD for his wonderful handling of the baseball stadium and its donors... Any money that would have been set aside to do any of those things is pretty much gone now. That's what I keep talking about at what cost will this be at now? But hey as long as it gets done right? And I'm not saying it shouldn't get done but these mistakes will cost us more than money.
