That's really a great way to kick off your new career in consulting... It would be his last job... It might be anyway if we don't follow any of it. Good luck getting other reputable consultants in the future if you refuse to follow up on anything. I don't think suggesting our games be broadcast further than the mall is that crazy of a suggestion.

The guy has a national reputation and a firm that has been doing consulting since 1999. He has enough body of work to suggest otherwise. What certain people have tried to do is discredit his work because it shows the incompetency of our athletic department. The problem for those people is they have neither the credentials or the understanding of how quality athletic programs operate. There all small timers that are perfectly happy with the status-quo.

The general overview of the Alden Report is nothing new to me. And some have said that because he is a "P5 guy" his recommendations don't fit our program. You know, like Terry Don Phillips ....whoops!

thanks for clarifying..... my thought had nothing to do with any specific piece of the report. just as I said, the thought crossed my mind. happy if it is not correct. sorry, but one more side bar--- how does someone have a company as such while maintaining a job in the public sector? seems like double dipping off the taxpayer dole in a sense.....

He sold the company shortly after founding it and is basically a Consultant emeritus now....he was on a sabbatical from teaching at MU when he did out work.

Well Fellas,

I'll be leaving town this evening and heading to the fun and sun of the Florida beaches for the next 10 days! I will attempt to step away from all of this madness to let my blood pressure get back to normal. To speed up my recovery, and enhance my health, I will spend time sipping on some of MelRock's suggestions of gourmet bourbon or some other various mixtures of "rot gut" and "brews". When I get back to town, I plan on riding by Cajun Field to take a first hand look at the remodeled "Tigue"!!!!!! I can't wait!

In the meantime, I trust all of you will hold down the fort. LMAO!

Make sure to wear your hardhat when you go check on the the remodeled Tigue.

The reason it's private is because we've figured out every angle to the circus act. As we figure one piece they change it. We dig deeper, they change again. They have nowhere else to go, so the put a gag order on Ragin Pagin saying that they'll take RP's yearly funding to go alongside the RCAF funding that they've already stolen.
