There ya go.
Final: USCB 5, Miami 3.
Florida has been number one seed three times and are o and five so far in those cws trips. And no number one has won title under new SR format, is it safe to say the committee could look into some new processes for seeding?
Why? You have a better way? If it worked perfect every time why even play the games? Just give the #1 seed the trophy. Nothing is perfect but at least this way it's settled on the field. It's not like Florida was given a bye to the championship game... They had to win their regional and super like everybody else. It's the final 8... Everybody is good... Florida deserved the number 1 seed for their regular season body of work, but they have to earm the title like everyone else. If we were the number 1 seed in 2014 and lost in Omaha would you be calling for a change?
Fair point, i guess it comes down to philosopy, is seeding a summary of the past or a prediction of future, so i dont know which is best. But it is clear that rpi is silly, and is a self licking ice cream cone.........however....back to your question......yes.if we were number one and lost, i honestly dont think we would ever be given that chance again.....
You are seeded by what you have done, as it should be. The RPI is a mathematical formula that everyone can see. You think we should let humans do it? Because we know how that will turn out. I didn't ask if you thought we would ever get it again....If we were rewarded the number one seed but lost in Omaha would you be calling for the committee to change their procedure because we didn't win it all?Rpi and seeding is simply a starting point, you still have to go out there and do it.
Cool, but humans are still doing it. And yes, they would change, but they dont aleays even stick to their own process....Even with rpi, coastal was 12 th but didnt host. Look at basketball the big boys didnt get what they needed out of rpi so they went to bpi to help their cause. Ridiculous
