if they hadn't risked their pitchers arm they wouldn't have beat us, has a nice ring to it as well.(although I am happy for them because I think west coast baseball should not die)

This is what makes college athletics so compelling. Coastal and UCSB in the CWS, UL in the WCWS, the excitement of March Madness and the great upsets that always occur. Then, there is college football that is now all about a handful of P5 schools that control the sport and the money. The only sport that is not an NCAA championship. Pretty sad that college football has evolved into this.

This is why I love College Baseball.

I never said I'd take solace in Arizona's success. I just said that is who I would like to see in the finals!
