Dolores Morvant is a 2nd grade teacher at South Crowley Elementary and hopes to be at the final stop of her long teaching career. Morvant, a native and resident of Church Point, seems to have come full circle in her many years of teaching.
“I guess you could say I was kind of a nomad for some time,” she smiled.“ I’ve taught at Church Point Elementary, Our Mother of Peace in Church Point, Alice Hart Elementary in New Orleans, and schools in Imochalie, Florida and Plain Dealing here in Louisiana and I think I’m leaving a few out.”
