I would think a completely new stadium would be on a new site, where a renovation would be on the same site as before. So therefore, it's a renovation. Just my .02
Rain is a concern. As of this morning, 60% Saturday and 90% Saturday night, 60% on Sunday.
They are finished with the brick work portion along the third base line that they have been working on. They are lowering the scaffolding there now.
I was thinking that adding on, painting, new seats, redo press box, lighting, adding some suites and sound system to the Tigue would have been a renovation. Taken down the Old Tigue from bleachers to bleachers and building a new structure in it place sounds like new to me......OK HelmutV11, clarify please....again, new or renovated it is still great....
I would say reconstructed would be a good way to describe it. I think they did what they did because the old stadium was inadequate in so many aspects that it would have amounted to throwing good money after bad.
