The Building of Russo Park at Louisiana

If you check the close up construction cam you can see them using a pole. This is the story pole. They use this to make sure the brick courses are at the same level around the building. The masons you see in the camera are the most experienced masons on the project and they are the ones that establish the eventual appearance of the project.

The brick veneer is not structural in that it is not holding up the building nor is it adding strength. It is a water proof cladding and it needs to look good.

I drove down Bertrand/South College today and looked towards the stadium. I have to say it does look impressive from that direction. I think it will be a very nice stadium when finished.

When work inside the grandstand is taking place at night the view from North College, looking across the T&F, is imposing...that place is gonna be absolutely electric on big nights.

Yea, I almost wish they would take the black screens off the track field so that you can see straight thru to the stadium lol.

I'm think they are bricking inside the entrance breezeway but can't be sure. And of course there is the other side of the stadium but we can't see that to be sure.

I do know they reached the bottom of the openings/windows. Wonder if they are waiting for something to be done there to proceed or what. Probably not, but just speculating since they stopped there
