Mat: Is this a correct statement?

At the first home game, GA in the bleachers only. When the grandstands are ready for occupancy, meaning safety, restrooms and concessions etc, the ones that had season tickets in the grandstand and renewed them, and not requested moving, they will get their seats near where they were in years past. This is the way I understand it. They have had many different idea about what will happen.

This is the message I sent to Mat. Waiting on an answer. The e-mail I used was "mcasbone@cajundome.com, It was kicked back by the post office as not being right. That's the one he has listed on his profile on the Athletic site. Anyone know if it is correct are not?

The key part in that is that it will be GA "based on seating area (bleacher and chairback)." That reads as if you renewed in the grandstand, you will have a seat there but not an assigned one. If you renewed in bleachers, you will be in bleachers, again, not assigned.

That's been my understanding. It's just a matter of when the grandstand seating will be available as well

Also, the article you posted was the newer one that mentions the seating. Originally, when they announced all games at The Tigue, they didn't have that part about based on seating area. That likely means they got questions on that and clarified it on the later release

I would assume that if you paid the upgrade fee this year to move from bleachers to grandstand you'd also be in the grandstand. JMO

I saw that too. Once the roof is finished and windows installed they can proceed with interior work that needs to stay dry.

If you tell them you want to move from the bleachers to the grandstand, you have to pay the extra $300 now. After that, I would think it would be a hard sell to say you'll still be sitting in the bleachers.

I don't think this is true...i requested to move seats and did not have to pay the excellence fund for chairbacks, I paid for bleachers where I was. If you move to chairbacks at a later date then you will be charged the difference.

I got my call this week and ended up choosing to upgrade my bleacher seats to chairbacks. I am being charged the difference now and was told that because I upgraded to grandstand, I would immediately be able to sit anywhere in grandstand for GA for the first few weekends until they can assign seating. Assigning seating will also be using your RCAF and Season Ticket holder rank to determine your order in line. But now I am at least guaranteed my 5 seats in the grandstand.

Can't wait, boys. Bring on this season!
