Oh they know now that the stadium won't be 100% complete by the home opener. Plans are in place to bring in temporary concessions and restrooms because many of the areas within the grandstand, outside of the seats themselves, will not be allowed to be occupied. The expense of bringing in temporary facilities at Russo is way cheaper than getting an off campus facility like Fabacher ready for the large crowds.
I've been wondering where they could bring in extra seating. The only place inside the stadium that I can think of would be the group area just past the third base bleachers without removing bullpen or patio box areas. The other option would be in the outfield between trees. Any other ideas?
Why would they bring in extra seating? The grandstand seating will be done (hopefully), just not the interior of the building. Once that is completed that is all the seating the stadium will have. No need for temp seating.
Grandstand will not be accessible till mid-season (hopefully). Nobody will be sitting in the grandstand for the Southern Miss series.
If that's the case, you have 3000 season ticket holders. I'd think the two bleachers probably seat half of that. From what I read, all season tickets this year are general admission so first come first served. What are the plans for the other 1500 folks?
According to Dr. Leger, "We will utilize our existing bleachers and are prepared to add additional seating to accommodate all fans purchasing a general admission season ticket.".

Watch the video. All tickets this year are the same price. You select this year where you want your tickets to be in 2018 and based on that and RCAF level you will be called in for seating options. All of those levels will be $175 plus the excellence fund for this year.
Excellent source tells me that is not the case. Grandstand Seats won't be in yet and bolts will be exposed. Goal is to allow ALL fans to try the grandstand on a GA basis for 2 weekends... then re-seating will occur.
Also need to complete all other premium areas (suites) in order to assign Grandstand seats...
All tickets this year start off as general admission... You just pay the excellence fund fee based on where your renewals will occur. I guess if you are bleacher and want to move into GS, then you would pay the upgraded Excellence Fund fee once you actually get to claim those GS seats.
That is what I thought, but is not the case... All tickets GA... areas don't matter.
They want bleacher folk to be able to try the grandstand on at least 2 weekends. So people can make an informed decision on reseating. There are several hundred more grandstand seats available and some will be vacated by people moving to suites.
