Yeah, those guys play just about every Sunday. If I'm riding my bike I'll stop and watch for a bit.
Never noticed them before, but I think I saw 3 games going. One day I'll stop and watch them.
BTW, there is a bunch of steel/construction stuff in the fenced-in area of the IM parking lots. At first I thought it might be tigue related, but then saw some of it laying in the IM area, so think it will be goal posts, etc. Anyone know the story of what the plans are for the IM fields are?
No clue! I've seen it played a few times in my travels and actually ended up on a flight out of Europe with the cast and crew from "Million Dollar Arm" which is a Disney movie about cricket players being recruited for baseball. Made for interesting conversation on the way home.
I've had cricket explained to me by an Englishman that I work with. Basically the "batter" is in the middle of the field and allowed to hit the ball in any direction he wants. Obviously, it is hard to hit the ball backwards, but they do it sometimes.
