Here are some construction docs.
The construction docs posted in post #536 show an April 22nd completion date, taken from the Nov 11th report.
And now we may be ready on March 3rd for the S. Miss series? That's a big discrepancy.
Will the S. Miss series be able to be played at the Tigue while the stadium isn't completely finished?
April 22nd would be the final completion of all construction. Construction work will be ongoing during the time we can "occupy" the stadium. Heck Lamson wasn't "completed" until about 2 months after we were playing games there. Some areas even required that you bring lawn chairs if you wanted to sit.
Pouring the backstop this morning. Also looks like all the grandstand main roof beams are now installed
Prior reports had more detail. If you know how to read them you can deduce that it would be possible to have access to the primary seating area as early as the second week of March.
Now the current schedule shows Lemoine trying to finish the stadium April 22nd when the contract completion date is April 28th. That means they feel they are 6 days ahead. So you can infer based on the rumor of playing the S. Miss. series in the Tigue that the critical path for the main seating area shifts a week back as well. Which would mean the first week of March.
Lemoine can still access the site to finish other work as needed since baseball games will happen outside of normal construction times.
Looks like electricians are working this morning.
