About 5 years ago I convinced my wife to let me act as GC on a home we were building. She finally relented and we had it finished in 14 weeks with an additional 30% equity into it for our troubles. So educating myself in construction through the years has definitely paid dividends.
That was dangerous. Still married after that?

Not only that but said she would do it again. With that said we had previously done a major gut job on a house we were living in. Now that was insane and would not do that again. Clean construction from the ground up is way easier.

Remodels are tough. I did two jobs for the historic section of Cafe Vermillionville. One was to strengthen the second level floor to use as an office the other was to rebuild the front porch. Problem is, with historic buildings, you can use modern materials however, they can't be visible. The front porch has steel columns clad with wood. We had to consruct a new foundation too. That was concrete with an antique brick veneer. The second floor was a challenge because the structure we were connecting to was, shall we say, questionable. We got it done but it was touch and go for a while.

On the roof again right now so pretty safe to say you are right and the roof panels are being done at night. Definitely can gain a little ground that way.

I just passed by and you can really see the interior of it taking shape.

---need a CF camera right???----BTW---Guys build/want/ hope for pragmatic schemes in a house and women want total design without true thought on practicality!!! And of course the finished product is part of what works and what doesn't and looks ok!!! AAHHHHHH!

I'm sure they took everything into consideration including the use of the space on the other side of the wall. This is really no big deal. The building envelope is not compromised.

It does look like the night crew is placing roof panels as some portions of the fourth floor are darker than others today and it is near noon.

Cajun90 and I were posting at the same time. What he said.
    Thanks, understand now.

Tried to capture the status of where we are with the roof. Not too successful since you really need to get inside. Also tried to get some views outside of the cams.

Looks like press box will have a blind spot deep in left field corner with the lower over hang.

Is the press box on the top level or bottom?

Top level on the 3B side.

I don't think the blind spot will be too bad. But you can't be sure unless you're standing in the far left side of the box. The angles on the rendering may look worse than it is
