Looks like they are setting up rebar in prep for a pour. I guess this weekend or early next week like HelmutVII said earlier.

So I guess the section not set for concrete is an entryway? Looking at renderings, that's seems like the right location, in between the grandstands and bleachers. But I don't know why it wouldn't have a concrete base.

They will fill that in later. The pours being done now are aligning with the prior chain wall and pile pours (load bearing areas).

The pour along first base side: There is a wide opening and it ends at right edge of this photo.

Shot of what steel they have up:

The gap is so that they can get the crane and other equipment in and out. The crane is so heavy it would destroy the slab when they leave. They should be able to erect all the steel in the bowl and work their way out through the gap. (They don't want to paint themselves into a corner.) All the anchor bolts are set so they can erect steel and fill in the slab later. The slab is just a floor the foundation is below.

That makes sense....and thx for the pic frenchie, it makes it very clear what Helmut is saying. The view for the cam is kinda misleading.

Just to be clear. The gap that you see in the construction cam and the gap in Frenchies photo are two different gaps.
