Getting close to a hard point on the time line. Looks like they may be starting to erect steel before all of the slab is completed to compress the time line.

They obviously have more to pour towards the field but I've been wondering how much. Much of that area will be underneath the grandstands and not accessible or visible because it will be walled off. They might just grade out a lot of it and cover with limestone or gravel.

Probably not too much because the head room will be too low. Limestone or gravel is probably what they will do.

Don't see how they could do that as that area is supposed to clear to the field. There will be box seating under the stands below the grandstand.

Pretty sure the clear view to the field (from concessions etc.) that has been discussed is at the top of the grandstand below the suites.

Was at meetings where Tony said the bottom of the grandstand will be 8' up with box seating below.

I expect those seats to be very comfortable; always, or almost always in the shade and right behind the plate. Should be $$$ for them. Oh, and I believe their own wait staff.

Agreed but I think that is different. It was my understanding that the main concessions area would be at the top of the grandstands and would be designed so that when you are up there you still had a clear view to the field. With all that said I haven't seen anything since the conception drawings so not sure on final product.

Think I have narrowed down one thing though. The stadium area will be a hybrid system. The runners (what you walk on) will be pre-cast concrete. The risers (vertical between the runners) will be aluminum. This will give you the feel of concrete but with reduced weight because of the aluminum risers. Appears to be a nice system.
