For years the Dirty Dozen and 1/2 were thanked for making the atmosphere what it was. Articles, news stories, obituaries, thanks, media guide write-ups, 10-best things about the Tigue on and on.
How can anyone blame them for believing?
Change is not easy.
I thank them.
I think the dirty dozen deserve and have earned those seats. Anyone who thinks differently has not been around Cajun baseball that long
I won't be hanging any K's. Not where they assigned my seats. That's the end of the K's. And yes I fixed the signs to hang upside down about a week after the last home game. Didn't know where my seat would be at the time.
My great uncle, Bob Fournet, was one of the original Dirty Dozen...give these men their seats!
I bet they did get their seats...the wall behind them just isn't where it used to be,it's further up. We didn't build an exact replica of the old stadium. If Frenchie really cared about the program more than himself being the K guy he would do the right thing and find someone to pass the tradition to make sure it stays alive.
Back in 80 or 81 I would attend games on my days off and sit two rows down from the top row. Bob saw I was sitting alone and called me up to sit with them. That's where my long friendship started with Bob and the rest of the group that would become the dirty dozen and 1/2.
