The Building of Russo Park at Louisiana

So they're cleaning the mortar residue as they move down. I'm still seeing a lot of white residue. Is this just being overly concerned? Is there going to be a final cleaning? Maybe it's less obvious live than on a iPhone.

The residue you see is a result of splash from a rain that happened when the scaffold was at that level. It comes off fairly easy and they can handle that working off of a man lift, a mild acid cleaning solution and a pressure washer. It's really no big deal.

Did we ever determine if the windows were installed? Looking from inside at the top row of the grandstand this weekend it looked like they have not gone in yet. If this is true, do we know when they go in?

From my seat this weekend definitely not in yet.

And just after posting I bring up the camera, and low and behold it appears to be a window being installed in the second window from the third base side of the structure. Also looks like scaffolding going up in the third base arch area. Maybe they'll start work to complete that facade.

It did look like there was some new sheetrock on the suites... so definitely making progress!

Yep, the window that went in looks to be in the 'presser area? And also agree about the scaffolding....with the masonry soon complete, plus the windows and soffit work....it will be really nice to see a complete façade there very soon

Hope they get some work done today because it's shut down time until Monday morning. Weekend series put a halt to all exterior work.
