It will be really interesting to see what ULL does for early-season home series. Ballpark won’t be ready, but sounds like LSU is an option.

He may know what he is saying. It appears at this point that the stadium will not be ready before April 1 at the earliest. Looks like we are looking at LSU, McNeese & Southeastern as an option. Fabacher appears to be ruled out, it's just not feasible, but we knew that.
Our schedule usually comes out about this time...hopefully they will release it soon.
---We use to go to LC for lil kid softball and some bball tourneys---maybe we could get the casinos to come up with a deal for some special rates meals, etc for Fri and Sat nights---Would give us a LC area presence with our number of players from Sulphur, Barbe, S Beau, and Kinder schools
I would I think like that!!! Not sure of the financials --guess Mn N would charge something and get the concessions or whatever!!!
Looks like they are getting ready for a concrete placement. Maybe tomorrow.
The Lemoine crew worked 7 days a week and sometimes at night to complete the end-zone at Cajun Field. some days they had as many as 50 working. But they knew they had to have the job completed by August. I would have to look back on the dates of the pictures I took from start to finish, but if I remember it was about 5 months. And that was a big job. Some say that the Tigue is a bigger job but from what I saw I don't think so. I guess baseball is not as important as football.
Frenchie someone has to pay the bills..... The football addition seems to have been handled correctly and the timeline and budget to get it done in that time was accounted for accordingly.
That hasn't happened in baseball as we all know. I don't know why they aren't working today but on construction projects there can be a number of issues that can put a stop to projects. For example they will need an inspection prior to pouring concrete. If they are ready to pour they may be waiting on the inspection. I do know that the budget was stretched extremely thin. I have no doubt that when push came to shove we chose to put money into the stadium versus paying for more time in order to get it done quicker but with less amenities. Keep in mind that under federal labor law every one of those workers is making 1.5X more money after forty hours in a week. That can eat up a very large amount of money quickly. So today may or may not have been about overtime but I can guarantee you that there will be times when not working overtime will effect this project.
