in the pictures it looks to be separate, but im not sure if there are plans to run they stairs all the way up to a recessed part of the deck

While you may be seing only one brick layer in the camera I feel certain that there is a full crew spread out over the entire project. Right now they are probably placing the bottom courses of brick along the first base side of the stadium which is out of camera view. As I stated in previous post. The bottom courses are critical to get level and plumb. Once those courses are established then they can proceed at a much faster pace.
I was able to take a tour last Saturday, not in the construction area but from the field. As big as you think it is in the pictures it is even bigger up close.
What is the plan for these opennings? In the renderings it looks like this:
Indeed, and I hope he's alive to see it when it happens. And I believe it'll happen.
Another thought about that impressive pic you posted. Can you image how imposing that view will be to opposing pitchers, especially those who are accustomed to seeing only a handful of fans watching their teams?
