The Tigue is a special place

Do we know for sure what these areas will be covered with? I believe someone said it might be louvers, but I hope it's more than just that......hope they cover them with some cool graphics like what is shown on the rendering.

It appears they have finished the masonary work on the third base side where the scaffolds are located. Pretty sure they are cleaning everything up as they jack down.

My observation is that this is not a renovation of the Tigue. It's a completely new stadium. The only thing left in place was the bleachers, which are removable. So everything build is new, not renovated. If I remember before the project was started, the news had the story as it being renovated.........

Well also the same field, walls, scoreboard, etc so I think renovation would work as well

So you are saying that the field, outfield and scoreboard are part of the project. You said SAME field, etc....I take in consideration that they tour down everything but the bleachers. So it's all new. But renovated or new it's all good.....

I would agree. Don't think anyone would look at the before and after and conclude that it was the same stadium.

So what you think about the place Frenchie?? I first set foot in the stadium in 85' but I know you and your bunch were there long before that.

I would think a completely new stadium would be on a new site, where a renovation would be on the same site as before. So therefore, it's a renovation. Just my .02

Masonry work should also be just about complete behind home plate for the weekend. Only a few feet left.

Rain is a concern. As of this morning, 60% Saturday and 90% Saturday night, 60% on Sunday.
