It is a beautiful thing and one day we need to figure out away to put his name on something. The man has given more of his life to Cajuns athletics than anyone I know.

The eventual green park between the Tigue, APC, and Cajun Field would be nice. Or an eventual indoor hitting facility. Best would be new offices that house our athletics administration. Whatever it is, it needs to be something that a lot of people will use for a long time.

The person that gave me the tour asked me if I thought the new/bigger stadium would disrupt our pitchers. My comments were, well the guys come from high school so the old Tigue was already bigger, plus our guys practice here. I then said can you imagine the opposing team's pitcher coming in to this place. Man I am getting really pumped up this morning.

Our pitchers and players will feed off the crowd as always. The facilities will only add to that (here's hoping they're not a distraction lol). Seriously, I'm sure our guys will be fine, it's their home. Some opposing pitchers will be intimidated I suspect.....perhaps only for an inning or two, which may be all it will take.

Weren't the athletic offices supposed to go in the football upper deck tower whenever that is built? Hopefully that could serve as somewhat of a motivator to get that going

Rain has shut down most of the masonry work for today. Good chance of rain early next week as well.

That whole floor is mechanical room space for HVAC, sprinkler, exhaust systems etc. I would suspect much of that will be louvered covers to allow for air flow that will be required.

Do you think the restrooms will be air-conditioned?
