How about a publicity shot of some of the Sr.'s laying in some brick, since they had a hand in making UL baseball as popular as it is. Maybe inlaying some old bats and balls into the brick as a part of the entrance. Or, start a tradition of any sr. who graduates gets to include his bat or glove in a special area of the entrance. Build some more tradition.

A few yeas ago they were selling bricks from old Rosenblatt. Would be cool to have that incorporated somehow from when we were there.

How about making all the walk ways in and around the stadium with bricks, each with a former letterman, like the Walk of Honor on campus? Call it the Athletic Walk of Honor and do it for each sport. For football, do it around the Square when built with a Fleur de Lis the fountain like in The Quad on campus. Great way of connecting the main campus and athletic campus and getting former athletes back supporting athletics. Could start with each one buying their brick. Something to proudly show their family and friends. Not too late to do starting with baseball.

Looks like they are making good progress with the brick laying. Also, I passed by today and it looks like the façade nearest 1st base (out of camera range) is pretty much closed in. It also looked like they were pouring concrete for the walkway at the top of the 1 baseline bleachers.

Looks like they are also doing some of the frame work for the very top of the outside (top floor) which on the renderings is a gray angled structure (likely metal).

Thing is going to look amazing once the brickwork is done.Tired of looking at the black
