Here's a new question, has anybody got a solid clue or has seen what the new seats will look like? There's lots of different types of chairbacks. I wasn't a huge fan of the old red ones so anything will be an upgrade. But I'm curious, will the new ones be red? Will they be hunter green? Will they be a seat fold-up or a stiff, one shape style like the old ones? Will they have cup holders? Just genuinely curious, not going to hate on whatever the style is. But it would be cool to see a pic of them.

I have not heard...I would guess black or grey seats. I would bet yes for cup holders (hopefully on the back of the seats) and I think they will be stiff.

I would be a little upset too if they weren't red. That being said, I'd take comfort over color any day.

The black or grey would look so much nicer, clean and sharp looking (ex. Cajundome). Not everything has to be team colors.

Just a bit of info. The pavilions from Lourdes Park are being used at Lamson park.

No doubt black is hotter but the problem with Red is twofold. It is one of the more expensive pigments available so an up charge on some projects. It also is subject to fading more so than other pigments, especially when exposed to sunlight. Thus the pinkish hue to the old seats.

Grey would be my choice.

I hear ya. I wouldn't mind hunter green like many pro stadiums, Astros, Zephyr, etc... looks nice.
