I think there is also a plan to extend the netting down the baselines as well. I certainly hope so because there have been some pretty good injuries through the years.

One of the best parts for me will be getting rid of the two black poles that held the netting up. One of them fell right over the batters boxes from my viewpoint. Will be nice to have something more like Lamson where its all cable suspended

I was wondering about that too. They started that yesterday and are filling it back in with new pieces of DensGlass. Maybe fixing a mistake

Hard to tell from the pics, but I was under the impression that grandstand overhang was supposed to go almost to the field of play - like where the netting would be hanging. Doesn't look like that is the case. Anyone know for sure?
