---Helmut---probably the guy with the least knowledge of this asks---Does the mid stadium seem smaller than thought to be at this time???

I have actually been impressed with the amount of workers lately and how much progress theyve made the past two weeks.

I would hope that they would move the camera a little further away because, once they start erection the structure the only thing we will see is the wall that is going to be atop the footing immediately in front of the camera.
The camera could have been placed on one of the outfield lights and have a pan right to left and focus in and out like they had for the APC.....

So piles would have been driven earlier and the existing concrete pour will secure the new footings to the existing piles? Would this have been from the original stadium as I haven't seen any machines in any of the photos recently to indicate this was done once the old stadium structure was removed?

I saw some spiral tied rebar cages that were about 40 feet long stored on site. That is typically reinforcing for a drilled concrete shaft. I am assuming that is what they were for. I have no inside information on this though.

The lens on the camera is a wide angle lens. What we are seeing is distorted.

He may know what he is saying. It appears at this point that the stadium will not be ready before April 1 at the earliest. Looks like we are looking at LSU, McNeese & Southeastern as an option. Fabacher appears to be ruled out, it's just not feasible, but we knew that.

I'm kinda shocked that we'd go to McNeese or Southeastern before Fabacher. Seems like Tulane or Zephyr Field would be a better option too. At least you'd get some fans over to make a fun weekend out of it.
