And a roof deck for lease to replace Lourdes park. Add some right field decks around the pines with all of them catered by local restaurants who just happen to be baseball sponsors and you have a perfect setup. Unless it's three story with the coaches offices on there with balconies on the second and third floors with views of the field and stadium. You could probably lease those for football as well and raise a little more funding.
this one totals about 5500 sq ft. http://www.dailylobo.com/article/201...rove-clubhouse
This is the area I'm thinking it will fall. I don't know how far they want to impose on the track area with the building but I'd assume they probably want to remove the old building completely anyway.
Looking at outfield decks it looks like they'd have to put some type of wall/barrier between the track and the right field wall to create a private area which might be a problem.
They're likely going to have to put an added wall past the outfield wall anyway. I think most likely, that bullpen will have to go behind the wall now when the clubhouse goes in it's place.
It's a tight squeeze when you check the measurements just using google maps but they probably can make it work. At it's closest point, the track is only about 25' from the outfield fence but that's more right-center. Closer towards the line, the track curves away giving a little more room
That's what I'm thinking too. Think of a camp on Grand Isle that has cars and boats parked under it and the home is on level 2, but nicer. Brick columns, camera system to watch from dugout and/or clubhouse, etc.
Build the building up. The under level would have to be more like 2 levels worth. You can have bullpens and cages under. Then clubhouse, offices, storage, etc on floors 2 and 3.
Why is the athletic dept. keeping the clubhouse renovations so secret? Why are the blueprints not made public to the fans? I would think they would want to show us the plans. I hate getting second hand information.
