Ever tried Goose Island? It's sold at the Tigue. I tried it after the Ragin Cajun developed a bit of a funky butt smell. Not as hoppy as other IPA's. Easy to drink.

Squatters Hops Rising is a great DIPA for IPA fans. I tried a hefeweizen by König Ludwig Weiss (had to look that spelling up) recently and that was my jam.

I don't know why hefeweizen is not more popular down here. I will always choose that over anything else when it is an option. Speaking of BJ's, they have an outstanding hef.

Is the Tananka stout their own beer? I tried their amber and their stout and both were pretty good.

Parishś Reve stout uses coffee from Reve downtown. So double local!

YES! It's funny hearing about NOLA and BR people searching high and low for Ghost when I can easily stock up at the brewery when there is a release

None the less, it is a very hot commodity

As BR and NOLA folks that like IPAs try Ghost. they all like it. It's a hot commodity because it's very good. Even though Parish is very special as a local microbrew, I think it's great that Parish is getting a solid distribution going in Louisiana.

Z, you know us boys from the Nort'side were ahead of our time. In the early 80s we got the finest of brews, Tuborg Gold, from Minute Mart. Went well with various other types of gold.

Brah, Nort'side has always been cutting edge!! I visited with one of your podnuhs last week. Last name, Fontenot!! His crazy bride brought me some Beaver nuggets from Buccees.I had to go grab dat!!!
