Cautionary tale...we were this pumped to get Sensley on board.

MaxPreps has him batting .388 with 12 doubles, 2 HR and a team leading 22 RBI in 24 official games.

Trinity Christian was ranked as the #7 overall team in the state of Florida. They were ranked high in 4A, but lost 2nd round to a team they had beat before. Also, they beat the two state finalists in that class by a combined 21-0 in the regular season.

I hope I do. But he wasn't the immediate jolt of Offense to the lineup we had hoped, not this year anyway. I know I'm tempering my enthusiasm for Lott.

The comments that our coaches had about how solid and skilled a hitter they felt that Lott is are different to Sensley last year. Nothing against Sensley because they were very high on him (which he showed in flashes), but Bab and JT both felt Lott was one of the best equipped hitters they have recruited in a very long time and was easily the #1 guy on their board. He has all the tools, now it's a matter of putting it together at the higher level.

The great thing is, he's just a freshman next year.
