    What happened here?
Duplantis and the catcher collided over the bag and the ball popped out of the 2nd baseman's glove

So....South Carolina, TA&M, Ole Miss, Florida, Miss State, LaState, and Vandy are all given every possible advantage and opportunity to make it to Omaha...and now only ONE...MIGHT...get there. Wow.

I remember someone calling in to a local radio show on the first day of the SEC tournament saying that he was amazed at the strength of the conference and how their tourney would be stronger than the CWS. How stupid a comment.

Suck it LaState! I had to get that out.

Excellent job representing your (future) conference, Coastal. They've made a few fans in Cajun country. At least for the time being.

I don't know how good the SEC was this year. Regardless, no conference should ever have as many host sites as that conference did. The SEC gravy train is real, and no one can tell me they don't pay to play. They have the media (ESPN in particular) in their back pocket, bought and paid for.

As far as the BR Super. Coastal was the better team. They were the more well rounded, experienced, smarter, grittier and better hitting team. The Chants are impressive, to say the least.

LSU went on a nice run down the stretch. I'm not taking anything away from them, but in the 6-7 times I saw them play this year, I never once came away thinking they were an elite team. In fact, I wasn't impressed with them in New Orleans. At that time, we were kicking the ball all over the yard, and really beat ourselves. I thought the Cajuns were on par with them.

Congrats to the Chanticleers. Earned and deserved.

i dont understand how some people are saying this is Coach Paul M's best coaching job since he's been there. they were a mediocre team that got on a hot streak. CPM didnt do anything different from the first half of the season to the second half, they just got hot. i dont see how thats a great coaching job.

When they got hot, they beat some pretty good teams, and did it in dominant fashion at times. Maybe circumstances played into LSU's favor in a lot of those games, who knows. Baseball is a strange game.

There are many teams that catch fire after a slow start. That has happened to us the last two years and there were many of us, myself included, who suggested last year was Robe's finest hour as a coach.

I understand what they are saying about Mainieri and I actually agree with them. After losing eight of nine in their lineup, this team turned out to be better than a lot thought they'd be. Again, myself included.

If a coach is going to get the blame when things are going poorly, they deserve some credit if the team then goes on a roll.

I don't think anybody "just gets hot."

It was because of how many underclassmen they played. It wasn't anything Maneri did. It was just the way those paid to chatter found something to chatter about.

Next year a Komodo Dragon will somehow wander into Alex Box just as LSU rallies for a weekday win over Nichols and the Rally Komodo Dragon will be born. The several fans that are eaten alive by said Komodo Dragon will have their fan hood questioned, because as we all know, LSU animals know who LSU fans are and would not dare eat them. It will all culminate in a chance encounter between the Komodo Dragon and Les Miles, ending after a 3 hour long olympic wrestling match, and then an impromptu wedding as Les has never seen so much fight in any beast, and that he might as well marry it.
