    If you remember Haynes was one that needed to qualify along with Kory Louis and Hayes. I was told Hayes had a shot at qualifying when he signed. .He is now enrolled at Kilgore JC in TX.

    He is enrolled in summer school at UL, so that is a good sign.

    Evidently coaches pressure teachers to fix grades. That is such a disservice. In my short teaching career I was pressured to do this to keep a kid eligible, and when I refused another coach who also taught accommodated him. Why don't they help the kids out so they can play four years of college ball?

    I had a teammate who had a 4.0 but was deemed ineligible because he was a class short of reaching the set % of your major requirement after two years. He RS. Michael Southall comes out of jail that year and plays.

    Don't forget we had a young woman in compliance at that time that allowed Oreene Green eligibility from an on-line course that wasn't accredited. She was dismissed here afterwards and went on to Arkansas State and got them in deeper trouble in multiple sports.
