Yes as a player, they all should love it. Also as a player, how many really think about the chances of getting hurt or quality of life after football. Very, very few think about those things.

In my opinion; administration, coaches, and the Sun Belt have a responsibility to these kids to to put them in extra harm. With the very limited (if any) positives of this championship game, this same group I just mentioned failed the players when it comes to their safety.

It's to determine a true champion, how can you say means nothing? In 2005 we got left out of a bowl because of a stupid 3 way tie. How about sharing a championship with a team you beat on the field? Like stAte

It would mean something if us & Monroe are tied at the end of season and we beat them. Wouldn't have to have this "co-champ" bs.

Determining a true champion is all fine and dandy. But there are too many unanswered questions for me to get all excited and tingly up my leg. 1) There is no sponsor at this time to cover the cost of travel for the visiting team, how much will it cost each SBC football playing member or the SBC to put on this game? 2) How is the host team determined if both programs have the same conference and out of conference records? 3) With a championship game, will that mean bowls such as the New Orleans Bowl agree to wait in order to invite a non-champion like UL in the past, or will it no longer take any team from the SBC but the champion or 2nd and 3rd place team in the given years?
