Proud to be a part of something special year in and year out. Proud to be a Ragin Cajun baseball supporter. Thank You Z, Clem, Tros, Eric, Thrum, Mills, Herrington, and anyone else I'm forgetting. I grew to really like this team. Appreciated their hard work, respected their effort. Thanks Coaches for once again making your fan base, community and University proud.

We'll be back, and we'll be better. Future is bright.

I think what makes me most upset is the fact the the NCAA gave us a nice path to Omaha and we ____ed it away. It is getting harder and harder every year to fight for elbow room at the dinner table...this one really looks bad on us and the NCAA.

Just love seeing you guys get embarrassed on the national stage. EVERYONE loves to talk about the regional host that chokes. (Vandy definitely NOT included this year.)
GTF out of here! Have your argument on your own turf.

I'm not going to get on here and argue with people all night, but there is no "nice path" to Omaha. Arizona was picked to come out of Lafayette for a reason. Having said that, we beat ourselves too many times this weekend. Can't beat yourself in the postseason. This team already didn't have a big margin for error. A lot of people got comfortable after the 10-3 win, but how many actually paid attention to that game? We hit routine ground balls that got into the outfield because of their shift. They hit batters, walked batters, and made errors. Everyone remembers the 2 run bunt, but there were a lot of fortunate moments in that first game the went our way..

Congrats to the Wildcats. I will not be pulling for them as I thought their tactics were busch league, and I thought their coach was a whiney punk. A few players also showed their asses.

I'm assuming you meant to say "relief pitchers have done more than enough"?

Both starters today went a TOTAL of 1 and 1/3 innings combined and gave up 6 runs!!! That was ball game(s)!!!!! Got to do much better than that!!!!

If that is the case at least we don't have to worry about Ole Miss or Virginia taking spots in the future.

This^^^. Not many thought this was a regional team after 20 games, let alone a host. They simply refused to quit. They didn't lose. They just ran out of innings.

Both those schools you mentioned are P5 programs and will get a "pass"...maybe I'm just overreacting.

The line up changed. We had a winning lineup yesterday and a losing one today and we opted to start the same losing one for the final game expecting a different result. ( didn't happen )

Pitching and defense (except for the first couple of innings of each game) were there. The problem is that Cajuns managed only 4 paltry runs in 18 innings on an overused fatigued pitching staff. Can't win on that.

Some on here say we didn't swing at enough first pitch strikes today. Others say we weren't patient enough. I don't think those sentiments can both be correct.

I would be interested to know if the approach was changed for the DH... thinking that we needed to get their pitchers to throw more pitches and wear down. Whatever was different about the approach... it didn't work.

Defense was not there today... Sensley in rf was atrocious today and cost us runs in both games pitching you cant say was there when our 2 starters combined got 4 outs
