Eric was a MAN. Loved having him on the mound. Who's gonna step up and be our long relief stud next year? Maybe Hogan? Or do we give him an opportunity to start? Is it too late in Wyatt's career to move him to the pen? Would love to see him come out the pen with his fire and attitude.

there also wasnt a spark offensively from anyone the entire day, save clement. just stop
That double Sensley hit in game one was a spark. Arizona just did their job in not letting it spread fire. Same thing with Clement and Robbin's home runs.

Child abuse. Ginkel is obviously a future draftee.

Had an Arizona kid ( # 14 ) come eat Jambalaya at our tailgate between games. He said not to be surprised but if it came down to an inning or two at the end of the game - Bannister might toe the mound again............

    That's a disgrace.

As Robe has said, it's all about the ramp up.

The 1-9 he inherited sure look like a totally different 1-9 when he left.

if we returned this entire team next year I'd be willing to bet they would look very similar to 2014...it rarely falls that way. I like Deggs and think he is a great coach but 2014 was the perfect storm of player retention of a very tight knit group. A lot of those core players weren't Deggs. He is damn good coach, not a magician and he certainly didn't do 2014 all by himself.
