Championship teams it is a switch. We don't have that. We have three professors trying to out think every opponent, and forgetting that baseball is a physical game played in actuality, not in your head.

I don't think you'll find a person on this board that doesn't agree that hitting has been an issue this year. Today it was a glaring issue, especially with used arms throwing. Some will say the Arizona pitchers were hitting their spots, but I'm sure that the batters will tell you it was on them. I'd agree with the batters.

The batters didn't adjust well tonight. Too many early swings. No patience at the plate.

Never again will I buy into the idea that we have a pitching advantage over a team that is coming out of the losers bracket. Guy throws 100+ pitches then comes back later and takes his team into the 8th. Next guy throws about 50 in relief then comes back with a start and pitches 1 hit baseball for about six innings. We come in with two quality rested starters and neither of them can get out of the second inning.

To be clear, I'm not getting down on our guys. I'm just saying that's baseball, and next time I'm going to try to remember that.

You know what? It is 9:55pm on Monday, June 6, 2016 and not much has changed.
Our boys had a great season, again.
The Tigue hosted a regional, again.
La Tech still sucks.

Hey we hosted a regional, the last year at the Tigue! I couldn't be happier, sucks we lost, but we are getting a brand new Baseball Stadium! We coming back bigger and badder than ever.

No one can keep up with our improvements, Tech will look like a dump and we will have a brand new facility ready for next baseball season.
