    A funny observation... but I'm pretty certain it isn't the same posters. I don't... for instance... combine your posts with CajunHawk... and claim "Ragin Pagin said...". There's enough diversity of opinion on here to stop calling this site a single combined mind.

    That said... we have a much better predictive weather mapping system than we did 5 years ago... much less 20 years ago. There have been (and always were) significant differences in summer thunderstorms and the times of day they occur in mass. Is pre-scheduling these gulf coast regionals with morning game targets all that more disruptive than having almost every game delayed?

    I guarantee you that regionals will be planned with early morning starts, specifically when future weather systems, like these, are in the forecast.

    Good analysis.

    Doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that the afternoon heating usually causes the right ingredients for a thunderstorm. Mornings and late evenings are almost always in the clear in these types of systems. Have we had any morning games yet? No.

    I've been waiting since Saturday in a hotel room with my son for this game!!!! Let's do this.
