Only one game can be scheduled for june 6th in BR regional, but most other regionals have two scheduled if still needed???
That's not the point, and you know it. If you start out every preseason with 3/4 of the conference ranked... and they all dictate their home and away OOC schedules... you pretty much have a lock on RPI for the entire season... as a conference... deserved or not. You have to admit... it's pretty hard to have a bundle of host sites and number 1 seeds... and not put teams in the CWS. It isn't about the SEC not having a great conference. It's about the double and triple compounding that the ranking/rating system hands them.
I know a lot of SEC fans. And all you ever hear is their whining about getting beat up within their own conference. But to what penalty? They are all given premier points for being in the SEC from jump street. Lose to an SEC foe... oh nevermind... he's also been annointed with a high initial rank... you suffer not.
It's a very tough baseball conference. But again... the system over rewards it. That's a fact.
your point is a good one.
ECU advances.
BC up on the Greenies 5-1 in the 4th.
South Alabama appears to be out of pitching; getting ugly out in Tallahassee.
I'm pulling against every team that is from LA except my Cajuns. Recruiting advantage!
